Though this park is in the Meridian Campus Neighborhood, this is a city park that is open to everyone. The location of this playground is beautiful. The trees provide nice shade so that even on warm, sunny days, the slides don’t get too hot.
Everything you want is close by. There are restrooms next to the playground, a big open field where you can play sports or just kick the ball around. There is a small toddler play structure and a larger play structure for older kids. There are both regular swings and infant swings.
Near the playground, there is also a picnic shelter and a half court basketball court.
This is place where we really enjoy taking the kids to play and have a picnic. It never seems to get overly crowded.
